Mr. Mark Setter is a liquid for permanently securing decals to painted surfaces. It's especially effective when used on decals that have aged and lost adhesion, or on decals that lack strong adhesion. It also contains decal softening agents. Apply a small amount of Mr. Mark Setter to the area where you want to apply the decal and place it on top. The liquid will adhere the decal to the painted surface, making it difficult to remove, even after it dries. The softening solvent will quickly soften the decal. Be careful not to apply too much, as the decal itself may melt, crack on contact, or erode the painted surface.

This product is water-soluble. Adding water as needed will weaken the solvent and prevent rapid softening. Depending on the surface being painted and the type of decal, it's best to dilute it with water before use. After applying the decal, gently press the decal with a slightly dampened cotton swab or lint-free cloth to ensure adhesion. While doing so, wipe off any excess Mr. Mark Setter to prevent it from becoming too soft. Using a cotton swab dampened with water will neutralize the Mr. Mark Setter and prevent it from softening excessively due to the solvent.

If the decal is hard and doesn't soften easily, apply a small amount of MS231 Mr. Mark Softer to the decal and wait for it to sink in. Be careful not to apply too much. If there are any air bubbles between the decal and the surface, carefully pop them with a needle or modeling knife after the decal has dried. Then, by reapplying Mr. Mark Softer, the decal will soften again, the air bubbles will disappear, and the decal will adhere firmly to the part's surface.
