The Folland Gnat was a small British subsonic jet trainer and swept-wing light fighter, developed by Folland for the RAF and widely used by the Indian Air Force. Its design allowed it to be built without specialized tools in less industrialized countries. Although it was never used as a fighter by the RAF, the Gnat T.1 trainer saw widespread use.
