Mr. Mark Softer is a softening fluid for water-based decals, facilitating their conformability to uneven, rounded, and matte surfaces of plastic models while also increasing adhesion. The brush applicator allows for precise application of the fluid. Apply it over previously applied decals to achieve the desired effect. Be careful not to apply too much, as the softening solvent will quickly soften the decal. The decal itself may melt, crack while being applied, or erode the painted surface.

This product is water-soluble. Adding water as needed will weaken the solvent and prevent rapid softening. Depending on the surface being painted and the type of decal, it's best to dilute it with water before use. After applying the decal, gently press the decal with a slightly dampened cotton swab or lint-free cloth to ensure adhesion. While doing so, wipe off any excess Mr. Mark Softer to prevent it from becoming too soft. Using a cotton swab dampened with water will neutralize the Mr. Mark Softer and prevent it from softening excessively due to the solvent.

If there are any air bubbles between the decal and the surface, carefully pop them with a needle or craft knife after the decal has dried. Then, reapplying Mr. Mark Softer will soften the decal, remove the air bubbles, and ensure the decal adheres firmly to the part's surface.
