Riich.Models CV35A009 Vickers 6-ton Tank ALT B Late Production, Finland
The Vickers E tank (Mark E or Vickers 6-ton) became an export hit to countries where the arms industry didn't produce its own tanks. A prototype was built in 1928. It was initially offered to the British Army, but the British rejected it. The tank was built in a twin-turret version, the Type A, and a single-turret version, the Type B. For the export version, the turret with the 47 mm gun was moved to the left side (reducing the driver's workload), and the center section of the hull was shortened. Countries that purchased the Vickers E tank could also license components for the tank, which were manufactured by Vickers-Armstrong. Poland managed to obtain such licenses without any additional fees. The tank was used by the armies of Afghanistan, Bolivia, Estonia, Finland, the Soviet Union, and even Greece, Siam, and Japan. This design served as the basis for the Polish 7TP tank and the Soviet T-26. Technical data (version B): length (with barrel): 4.88 m, width: 2.41 m, height: 2.16 m, engine power: 80-98 hp, range: 160 km, maximum speed (on road): 35 km/h, armament: 1 x 47 mm Vickers-Amstrong Mk. E gun, 1 x 7.7 mm Vickers machine gun.
